LIDL
This work was carried out for a design agency, creating key artwork and branding as well as pulling together concepts for events around local cuisines and cooking.
using the primary colours and basic shapes of the original logo, I developed key artwork and branding with inspiration from the memphis design style, breaking out the lettering into patterns and softening the colours, and showing how the branding could be used across a variety of outputs to give a cohesive theme across all aspects of the event.
The second event mockup was more in line with the existing branding, with an event centred around a "rube goldberg" like machine as requested by the client, encouraging interactivity with the crowd.
HOURS
"HOURS" IS A LIVE MUSIC ORGANISATION PUTTING ON EVENTS IN ABERDEEN CITY CENTRE, WHO NEEDED COHESIVE BRANDING AND KEY IMAGERY TO USE ACROSS THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA AND PHYSICAL PRINTS.
I CREATED THE HOURGLASS LOGO REPURPOSING THE MICROSOFT PIXEL ARTWORK HIGHLIGHTING THE DIGITAL ELEMENT OF MUSIC IN THE STREAMING AGE, AS WELL AS THE TEAL COLOURING TO MAKE ANY ELEMENT INSTANTLY RECOGNISABLE AS PART OF THE BRAND.
FOR THE EVENT I CREATED A RANGE OF POSTERS AS WELL AS TWISTS ON THE LOGO AND FONT FOR CLOTHING DESIGN AND STICKERS, AND FINALLY SOME ANIMATION WORK TO BE USED AS PART OF ONLINE ADVERTISEMENTS.
